Chef David High Tails - Horse Treats 1.5 lb

$23.99

Quick Overview

Hightails Overview

While continuing my development of all-natural healthy treats for horses, I devoted some time into crafting a product made with our sweet potatoes. Throughout testing, it was clear that our horses preferred their sweet potatoes with a chewy yet crunchy texture.

This texture is accomplished by piercing the sweet potato before dehydrating. During flavor testing, the favorite proved to be our combination of apple cider, mint and fenugreek.

This combination created the excited, “High Tail” response I was hoping for, hence the name HIGH TAILS™. I am certain your horses will exhibit the same behavior as you add these to their treat routine.

Crafted from only USDA Farm Grown sweet potatoes.

Each batch is sliced then pieced before marinating in our own mixture of freshly squeezed apple cider, Fenugreek& mint tea, harvested from our own garden and green house.

This process creates a chewy yet crunchy texture and flavor horses love!

Add to your daily treat routine to keep your horses healthy excited and “High Tailed"

PRODUCT INGREDIENTS

High Tails Horse Treats 1.5 lb

Sweet Potato:
The Center For Science in the Public Interest ranked the sweet potato number one in nutrition of all vegetables. With a score of 184, the sweet potato outscored the next highest vegetable by more than 100 points!
Apple Cider
(Unfiltered pure juice from Apples):
Our apples are picked right down the road and pressed in small batches to create a tasty, one-ingredient juice.
Fenugreek:
is an herb with a delicate maple-like flavor. It is one of the common ingredients of Indian curry mixture. It is also used as a flavoring agent for industrially manufactured vanilla, maple syrup and rum.
Mint Tea:
There are between 13 and 18 types of mint. Because they hybridize so readily, distinctions between the many species are hard to make. Here at Front Porch Pets we grow a few varieties for our treats like peppermint and spearmint.
